‘’Global health is facing many challenges and I intend to use this new term to build on our existing assets while continuing to develop our activities and network. The current pandemic has further underscored the need to strengthen our healthcare system, the quality of healthcare establishment services, and the importance of the healthcare system’s human resources. The USI and its community remain committed to meeting our sustainable development goals by placing ever greater emphasis on approaches aimed at gender equality and women’s empowerment. Over the past few months, we have supported our partners in combatting the pandemic and maintaining essential healthcare services for both primary and hospital care. We shall pursue our efforts to minimize the pandemic’s adverse impact on public and women’s health,’’,said Ms. Dubois-Nguyen, on the announcement of her reappointment.
