For thirty years, the USI has supported and accompanied health systems and health establishments in North Africa, Sub-Saharan and Central Africa, Central America, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe.

The USI has more than 100 projects in 32 countries to its credit.

The USI acts in various fields of health: health policies and systems, health sector reform, hospital management, health information systems, education and training, operational research, quality and risk management , hospital performance, environment and nutrition.

By relying on solid expertise in the management of complex projects, the USI contributes to improving the health of populations through an approach based on partnership, interdisciplinarity, empowerment, development and knowledge transfer.
